About Me

I'm currently working at Tasty Labs, doing UX design and implementation.

Working at a startup company provides all the excitement of skydiving on the Moon, without the reassuring knowledge that you've packed a reserve parachute.

Before that, I worked at OnLive for four years.

I worked at PDI/DreamWorks from 1993 to 2006, writing in-house computer animation software, with a focus on UX.

I received a Technical Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for writing the interactive 3D lighting application Light with my coworkers Lawrence Kesteloot and Dan Wexler. DreamWorks Animation used this software for most of its animated films for over 15 years.

I have credits on Batman Forever, The Arrival, Antz, Shrek, Shrek 2, Madagascar, Over the Hedge, Flushed Away, and Shrek the Third.

Shrek won the very first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

I grew up in upstate New York and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area after attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

You can send me mail at feedback6@traipse.com.

Here's my lovely family: Greta, Miranda, myself, and Axel.
