Sharkie is a real shark fetus in a jar on my desk at work. It was a gift from Julie Haddon, who is Director of Marketing at PDI.

Here's what Julie has to say about Sharkie:

Sharkie's roots originated back in Punta Gorda, Florida where a PDI Animator purchased him back in the early 90's at "one of those shell shops where they sell shit to tourists." The lady told the Animator that when they kill sharks for shark steaks "if they babies in them, they throw 'em in a formaldehyde jar and sell them to tourists." This Animator was going to sell Sharkie at a neighborhood garage sale in September, and that's when I spotted the gross little Sharkie in his jar and said Drew Olbrich needs this for his collection. Drew is now the proud father of Sharkie.

Most people think Sharkie is pretty disgusting.
